First of all the Italian army numbered 24,000 + and only some of the soldiers had proper rifles. The rest had spears and swords. Also, that was the first time Ethiopia fought as one with various different generals. That's pretty impressive if u ask me. The Italians had a proper rifle for pretty much every soldier and artillery pieces as well as more experience and they always fought as one unified people.
