If your intent is to have your kids connect with your culture and heritage than that becomes significantly harder if you marry out. Especially if you're in the culture sucking West.

It's not the same thing! It's just something I've observed lately. Couscous is delicious by the way.

From my experience this is only common with half Somali kids, where the dad is Somali and the mother is white. BUT, this isn't the case when it comes to half Somalis born to Arab or other non-white mothers. Those children are aware of both their cultures and embrace them.
