If you break down the source of income of SL you will find that majority is from foreign aid, one of the other major sources of income over the last 7 years livestock has been destroyed in the recent drought. GDP pre capita is only $367 one of the lowest in the world if SL was a country
Nope. Somaliland's income comes from livestock and and the taxation of Berbera's port, I actually think the latter is more important. Somaliland has only had a huge drought this year, so to say the drought destroyed our economy is rubbish.
As for the Aid, as if Xamar doesn't receive aid, lol. Somaliland doesn't take aid into account when it publishes it's GDP. The GDP may be the lowest in the world, but Somaliland is not an actual country with access to FDI and loans. How hard is that to grasp.
