You should have the wisdom to know that hookup culture isn't healthy for your soul and can adversely affect your ability to pair bond with your future wife. These aren't things that just affect women with multiple sexual partners. It also affects men's ability to bond with their wife. So preserve your love, your affection, your imaan essential for your wife. You'll have far more to pour into her and the family you create. Plus, Allah said himself that a zaani man is not fit to marry a chaste woman.

Finally, I personally loath online dating because it just gives everybody the ability to present the best qualities of themselves. Its inauthentic and too perfect. I would advise you to meet women in person, in the real world. If you work and go out often you should just interact with more and more women. Hold conversation with them, with or without the intention of dating. If you don't interact with women a lot in real life, even when you do get a match and take her out on a date - you will still be that socially awkward guy. Also, workout. Take care of your personal hygiene. Women love a guy that smells good. These things have been conversation starters for me in the past with women.

There are a lot of women out there looking to date, but sometimes we (guys) are our own worse enemy.

Just know that not everyone on these apps are looking for hookups. Some find it genuinely convenient to sift through profiles that might be interesting.
