Got no problem with somalilanders, definitely one of the more common Somalis you will run into in the diaspora.
How can one be a somalilander and yet be a Somali..
If you said isaaq instead of somalilander it would have made sense..just because something has been recycled so many times it doesn't make it right...same thing goes for the term SOMALIAN ...there is no such thing as SOMALIAN nor SOMALILANDER
the more important thing for Somalis is peace and prosperity.dont care if theres 20 independent enclaves as long as they in peace with each otha,trade,cross to each otha intermarry etc,and that includes otha Somalis outside the borders. Lets be rich quick by extracting oil and minerals,,talking too much about nationalism in lite of our recent history usually carries stinking carrot.
I think having Somalis with the right mind frame is more of a priority than wealthy Somalis..
Look at the gulf countries, is that what you aspire to..having such a strategic land of such huge size with enormous young population with dollars per capita no one can challenge and yet in the grand schemes of not the world but in their part of the world...they are utter useless..
It's not about getting rich it's not about chilling and providing basic human rights to breath.. but about security and good leadership....and you can't have those two with every Farax jaamac and Xassan wanting an enclave..

If there eva a unity comes around theres a lot to be changed,literally topsy-turvy,you have to make everything upside down,starting with the capital being in middle ground,those entities get used to power to plunder and abuse be stripped of any powerful postion,and clans like from Baidabo etc lead the country.and I don't see that comn,so back to square one.

Why y'all so disingenuous when even a cursory read of somali history reveals that there was never a collective somali state that occupied all the lands of the current country before the europeans. And post occupation that there were two successor states which joined in 1960 both which were sovereign, from which the current SL state gains it's legitimate claim to revert back to that sovereignty.

South Korea and North Korea have changed ethnically, whether it's physical features, language or genetics since the Korean war. On the ground there are many difference emerging you're already able to differentiate between Landers and Malis. There is no such thing as Somali anymore, there are Somalis. This diversity should be celebrated not minimised.
