Hahaha that Sheikh Zubeir conspiracy was peddled by some arab author and made famous by Muammar Ghadafi. I put my spin on it and claim him as Soomaali. Not sure which qabiil tho..

No hate there as long as he is Soomaali, so claim him too if you like.

She needs to address her messy love life about her divorcing her own brother which she used as a plot to get US citizenship for him, and then she is currently dating some married white man, and she then has the nerve to tells us about white men being these dangerous neo-nazis every two minutes on her twitter feed.

Ilhan! It's okay If you have a secret fetish for neo-nazis or you got rejected by Brad the right-wing nutjob in your university days just tells us. We won't judge you. Just stop playing the typical SJW leftist woke card of ''The white man is dangerous'' to us when we know you don't f*ck with Somali people or Somali men like that and you just need their votes! to keep you in the Minnesota House of Representatives
Nigga What are you on about :ayaanswag:

I need to read up on my history goddam, all this bloodlust in here, im in for a fking treat. Hopefully i come back out with an unbiased perception.

Any history book recommendations.

There are good websites including the somalia section of the wikipedia. Two books thay you may find helpful written by westerners who lived among somalis for a period of time are:

- "Warriors: Life and Death Among Somalis" by Gerald Hanley

A quote from there reads:

A Somali always felt himself to be twice as good as any white man, or
any other kind of man at all, and still does, even when he is wrong.

Quote:

Of all the desiccated, bitter, cruel, sunbeaten wildernesses which
starve and thirst beyond the edges of Africa’s luscious, jungled centre,
there cannot be one more Christless than the one which begins at the
northern foot of Mount Kenya and stretches to the foothills of Abyssinia,
and from there to the dried-out glittering tip of Cape Gardafui where the
hot karif winds blow in from where the long sharks race under the thin
blue skin of the ocean. You can never think of those wildernesses without
thinking of daggers and spears, rolling fierce eyes under mops of dusty
black crinkly hair, of mad stubborn camels, rocks too hot to touch, and
blood feuds whose origins cannot be remembered, only honoured in the
stabbing. But of all the races of Africa there cannot be one better to
live among than the most difficult, the proudest, the bravest, the
vainest, the most merciless, the friendliest; the Somalis
.

never saw a Somali who showed any fear of death, which, impressive though it sounds, carries within it the chill of pitilessness and ferocity as well. If you have no fear of death you have none for anybody else’s either, but that fearlessness has always been essential to the Somalis who have had to try and survive hunger, disease and thirst while prepared to fight and die against their enemies, their fellow Somalis for pleasure in the blood feud, or the Ethiopians".

The other Book is called "The Law Of The Somalis" and talks about how Somalis had an advanced laws equal if not better to the westerners before even Africa was colonized. He werites in detail the good and the Bad he observed whilst he lived among Somalis. His name is Michael Van Notten.

Check amazon for review and excerpt of the book. I have the book myself.

I enjoyed reading that.

The story of the elephant has to be taken with a grain of salt. There's so many loopholes in the story (I don't take evrything literally).
Are you even Muslim? Whatever the Quran or the Sahih Hadiths say is true and a Muslim would believe it. I'll give you the benefit of doubt since you said "I don't take everything literally."

Also responding to your other replies, Axum had nothing to do with the current Ethio Ethnic groups except the fact that they were Habesha. Would a Somali ever claim Oromo or Afar history because there both Cushitic? no we would not. Similarly, no Habesha has a claim to it because they were a different ethnicity from the Axumites.

Comparing Latin to Geez is a flawed comparison because Tigrinya didn't exist at that time nor did it decent from Geez! bring your sources if your truthful.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Surah about the Elephants Army:

1. Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?

2. Did He not make their plan into misguidance?

3. And He sent against them birds in flocks,

4. Striking them with stones of hard clay,

5. And He made them like eaten straw.

[Surah Al Fil Chapter 105]

Here's my dilemma. How can u march a whole army of elephants through a desert? It must've taken at least a couple months. Where did they get the water to make the elephants drink? Elephants need to rest and drink after a while too. They're not camels. Also, apart from the Quran there sin't any other document mentioning an expedition with elephants from general Abraha...at all....

Bruh u're confused. First u say Axumites were xabeshas and then u say they had nothing to do with them...? Look, it's a fact that Axumites were Tgrayans. Unless u believe the Axumites just disappeared out of nowhere and Tigrayans just spawned out of the ground. lol. Also, everyone knows Tigrinya and Tigre are descended from Ge'ez. Over 50% of the vocabulary is Ge'ez and the letters themselves are from Ge'ez.

Gurey was the best thing that happened to us, apart from that there ain't much. I'm just Ethios fought and won against: Arabs, Yemeni-Jews, Ottomans, Mahdists (Sudanese), Egyptians, Italians and Somalis. They managed to never get conquered. Now, if we were in their position, could we achieve the same? I don't think so.
Look up futuh al xabash. We destroyed them. That's how ethnic somalis spread so far and wide as one ethnic group.
