Why do people believe Somalis are funny even though we arent?

That stereotype irritates me considering i rarely come across an English speaking somali that's funny in fact I believe we are the least funniest due to our self deprecating jokes. We are only funny when we speak in aaf somaali. But in English definately not. I don't think I ever laughed or found a somali hilarious if I'm honest.

Yeah my sister witnessed it so did I. They want to be accepted and seen as cool and different. That's why they also pick on other Somali girls. All to impress their friends. I am.actislly yet to find an English speaking somali that's funny.

YESSSS. the worst thing ever, that's why you see somali boys acting all funny in school and dragging other quieter somali students just because their friends gassed them up and told them how funny they are. And now they are using these compliments to humiliate our nation.

Eritreans or Ethiopians don't do these banter is because they are proud of their ethnicities and are known for their beauty and regal. They care to protect their reputation and anything shameful come out of them.
