The distinction is kinda blurry, since Evangelical denominations evolved out of Protestantism, but there are differences. I'm not a fundamentalist Protestant though, that was my meaning.

Edit: I'm not too familiar on the theological similarities and differences but we don't go to a general Protestant Church usually.
