We only make xalwaa occasionally when there's a celebration. Also, every woman uses cooking oil (to cook duh). Deodorants and perfume are forbidden for women to wear in the presence of non-maharam men, hence why I was laughing when you said THEY are changing the religion.

I didn't suggest perfumes stop lying and twisting my words. I said body spray. After they get out of the shower they should spray themselves before they get dressed.

Akhas Calek! I hate people who stink. Abu Malik Ashari narrated from the prophet(pbu) that "Purity/cleanliness is half of the faith"(sahih muslim).
We should follow the example of our prophet (pbu) because he was very clean and ordered his companions to be clean and smell good. He kept his body and clothes clean, took bath on regular basis, liked use of perfume, liked to do miswaak (tooth brush) he disliked use of smelly things like garlic and appreciated neat and attractive appearance.

I don't like when some moms say, "maxaan qubaystaa 7 ilmood baan dhalay marka wakhti ma haayo". I don't believe them on bit because taking a bath or shower doesn't take more 10 or 15 minutes. They spend hours and hours speaking on phone so its just lie when they say they have no time.
