Why doesn't Saudi Arabia just annex Yemen?

I think that's is the eventual plan KSA will take South Yemen and UAE will take Socotra.

It's not in Saudi's interests to have an Iranian puppet state beside them and they want to destroy the Houthis at all costs. What if North Yemen (Houthis) just invade the border and annex Saudi territory and continue going up to annex? That's what Saudi are worried about and they know they have no real army to defend themselves.
Saudi were one of the fiercest warriors along with Yemenis akhi. but good times make weak men. Most in the army of Saudi Arabia are just in it for money and not really passionate about defending their country.
Also Houthi landscape is mountainous it's very hard to really control them.
Since Saudi soldiers on average are less motivated. I say Saudi should hire Jordanian and Somali mercenaries to destroy the Houthis and submit them.
Don't Saudi's have much more turk blood though coz of the ottoman empire and they are bit more paler skinned.

Saudi is a vast region. Probably the Hijaz from what I heard many went for Hajj and never came back and adopted for Saudi citizenship when the Ottoman empire dissolved.

if the Saudis were able to buy what they wanted and what suited their goals,the war in Yemen would be a bit different.
