Why is hookup culture normalised?

It's sad how this generation isn't even attempting to find romance,instead they just hookup. This society we live is trashes love and relationships and it is not a good thing.

Sleeping with someone you love and who loves you back is better ,I think. Because that person will never see you as an object they will make sure you are pleased ,because they care for you.

Obviously that's better, but gaal societies haven't placed any real significance on love and monogamy for the past 20-30years. People are ultimately a product of their environment/culture.

I think it's good that people start being more conscious, as sex is very spiritual thing also to avoid STDS and all kinds of sexual transmitted diseases.

I honestly wish the sexual revolution never happened. It is a detriment to women. Not empowering.

It wouldn't work. You can't undo 30+ years of social programming, not to mention the fact that a lot of women who brought into that bullshit will never admit that they were duped by the sexual revolution/sex positivity. Entire industiries were constructed around that lie and they can't risk it leading to a larger conversation about the sex industry/pòrn. Too many people are making too much money off of the "sexual empowerment" of women lol

Even finding a decent partner is hard,because most muslim men these days have been ran through and are for streets or have dabbled in them. Tough world we live in.

I've literally seen numerous of women who told their own stories and experiences of being used for sex thanks to hookup culture brainwashing them in to thinking it was okay. Some of these women have even written books and blogs about this topic informing young girls not to go to the same path, hence why this topic on the rise currently. Women are actually waking up and realising media and fake-feminism made them think that being used was "empowerment".

With all due respect but since you're a male, I can see that you view these women as Invincible and only acknowledge the ones who use their bodies and act like prostitutes in order to fill your anti-feminism progranda.

Wallahi I hate how women bought into it. It only benefits men. A man who loves you will want to please and actually will see you as a human being worthy of love and affection instead of an object. Studies have been done on this,that women get more pleasure from sex with a romantic partner than a random.

They're not invisible but they're not exactly going to make any meaningful change to the cultural zeitgeist any time soon. That isn't to say their efforts are fruitless but they have multi-billion dollar industries and decades of brain-washing working against them. It'll take a LONG time to undo this shit. Please don't start acting like some cadaan freak with a septum piercing walal, being male doesn't mean that I can't make simple observations lol

I understand where you're coming from though, I think the whole shameless flexing of how much body count one has is disgusting beyond words. Unfortunately it will take a while until this hook-up culture finally dies out.
