Why Somaliland region will lose even if a referendum was ever granted

Hassan Aptidon fought for the Afars and knew that it won’t end well if they did join Somalia as shown in Somaliland. He won against Harbi. Xamar like I said is just a city and irrelevant, why would they be getting shit your right they wouldn’t, port money will be for the state of issa(djibouti and K5 Issa and afar land as we relegate afars to national reserves), and the federal government(not to be confused with xamar) will get a cut, every state will have equal representation in the federal government anyways so don’t think of it as a city but as Somalia as a collective

It still doesn't warrant a federal system. in addition, SL made it clear it doesn't want to be part of the Konfurta system. Furthermore , you mentioned reer badhan which is not ran by anyone at the moment and is not being served by the government of SL. secondly, you said caare nin walan oo ka baxsaday ciidankii Somaliland and ended up killing SL army troops. Thirdly, the jabhad in awdal was dismantled the other week in addition a 60 year old guy burburay on TV like a little kid.

A nation wide referendum would be the best outcome for S/land separatist and the worst for Somalia. The reason why I want referendum in each region is because I dont want Somalia to abandon loyal unionists in eastern somaliland
My proposal is this.
Somaliland accepts to give Somalia Sool , half of Sanaag and part of toogdheer and Somalia in exchange immediately recognises somaliland allowing them to have international recognition. This would be the most concrete chance for somaliland to achieve independence and it would be dumb to refuse.
Somaliland will have 3 options
-Accepting this proposal
-Giving up separatism and join Somalia with an autonomous status
- keep the status quo and stay another 30 years without recognition.

The first 2 options are the best for S/land.
