In 2016 Sland had bigger budget for 2017, they defeated Xassan Qoslaaye back then.

I wonder if they will beat Farmaajo.

The annual budget is also approved by the upper house and the opposition so I doubt it's inflated that much for show/faan.

Almost 30% was spent on the army alone!! (JSL paid a heavy price to circumvent the arms embargo on Somalia). Not surprising why Somaliland has a larger standing army than all Somali territories combined.
