Sxb , I don't know about the members here, but many of the internally displaced Somalis come from regions that have no prosperity , no peace and struggling to eradicate , only way they relieve is to embark on a mass exodus , thanks to
the mess that was created in Mogadishu , and even in Mogadishu , there are
large numbers of displaced, forgotten Somalis, living in the slums , in abject poverty
but yeah no one gives a shit about their plight because they come from those regions ,
The people from the Southernmost of the country and still the region is a clusterfuck to this day.

I Just wish our people have common sense and declare secession like Somaliland then maybe we have a chance , there's no point calling Mogadishu our capital.

Honestly I would do this, probably not Muqdisho but maybe in the outskirts of the city. I’d go back after having some savings or spend like half the year there. Would any of you consider moving permanently or have you already moved?

my whole Family lives in Mogadishu. there only two problems in the area i came from which are security and economy. even if the security issue is solved, still people don't want to be in Somalia like in Puntland and Somaliland which are safe but still have economic problems such as unemployment like the South. the problem of the economy need to be solved for Somalis in the abroad to want to come to Somalia.

Black South African have a terrible life and are resorting to killing Somalis. we should improve the economy by ourselves not anybody else. having different is going to create a problem and we don't want. by the way, the cadaan there where you live don't want you and may kill in the future if things go wrong in Europe like the jews, so have a backup plan to go to Somalia.

Diaspora Somalis should try to create Kibbutz type place in Somalia . And only allow people with a certain level of education / wealth level to settle there decide on a place and buy up the land develop the place . This could inspire the rest of Somalia because if i know something about Somalis is that we are good at copying each other. I would also invite non somali muslims that can contribute.
