Homosexuality's root cause stems from social and environmental factors from an early age. If your child(ren) were to come out with such feeling from the same sex, then consider the following scenarios:

a) They were sexually assualted/harassed/touch by individuals from the same sex, which consequently lead them to be more sexually inclined to individuals from the same gender due to such traumatic experiences.

d) You were absent in your children's childhood, or you never fully available to your children. As aforementioned, the availability, authority, and support of your children is desperately needed in order for children to understand the fundamentals of sexuality and its relations. This directly ties to the previous point, as parental absence causes children to make stupid mistakes - under the pretense of being experimental, when they're in dire need of guidance, protection, and advice from you as a parent.

e) You, as a parent, did not make your children cognizant of the dangers of homosexuality. Sex-Ed seems to be one of the more neglected aspects of parenting, especially for Somalis. If your children are totally unaware of what Homosexuality is, what it entails, and what it causes, then when they find it appealing at first, who's to blame? You must educate your children about homosexuality - of course, when they reach the appropriate age of attaining such knowledge.
