That twitter photo looks like aiYou see a lot of the construction going on , a lot of the neighborhoods are also being built out, old buildings being replaced and upgraded in that drive through video. High rise buildings emerging even.
But yeah its nothing like India. The urban centers of India are just an overcrowded slumfest and they are more like large parts of Addis Abeba or Nairobi.

They are largely like that because of class separation, hyper capitalism which makes wealth distribution uneven, lack investments in affordable housing and their high population numbers that cluster into a single space. In Somalia you wont find any places like this.
This is why a lot of Kenyans are often amazed at the how Xamar suburbs looks in comparison. No crowded buildings, people plant trees and gardens next to their properties, a few have football fields.
The government is most likely going to demolish more houses and free up spaces and tarmac it.
They are already doing it which is sparking uproar.

There’s no indian genes in somalis
That's probably an area on the outskirts and cattle are being transferred or sold.
Xamar is a big city so it depends on which area you go to , some neighborhoods look better than others
