Xamar after 30 odd years

That's probably an area on the outskirts and cattle are being transferred or sold.

Xamar is a big city so it depends on which area you go to , some neighborhoods look better than others

A drive through of Xamar

A drive through of Xamar

You see a lot of the construction going on , a lot of the neighborhoods are also being built out, old buildings being replaced and upgraded in that drive through video. High rise buildings emerging even.

But yeah its nothing like India. The urban centers of India are just an overcrowded slumfest and they are more like large parts of Addis Abeba or Nairobi.
70% of Kenyans live like this in Nairobi and other ares but jump on social media to complain and moan about Somalis building proper houses and properties in their own living quarters.

This New Delhi India, suburbs for comparison

They are largely like that because of class separation, hyper capitalism which makes wealth distribution uneven, lack investments in affordable housing and their high population numbers that cluster into a single space. In Somalia you wont find any places like this.

This is why a lot of Kenyans are often amazed at the how Xamar suburbs looks in comparison. No crowded buildings, people plant trees and gardens next to their properties, a few have football fields.

The government is most likely going to demolish more houses and free up spaces and tarmac it.

They are already doing it which is sparking uproar.

There’s no indian genes in somalis

They see Indians receiving hate on Social media and want to incorporate Somalis or Reer Xamar into it. Why else would they mention us with a group we have zero incommon with? (except the Muslims)

They are speaking from a place of coolad and grudges. It's constant theme on this site.

Even the whole Cadaan bootylicking this guy @PilferingKombucha is on about is not reality.

There is an cadaan youtube travel vlogger who went to South Asian countries and then he went to Xamar, all Somalis did was ignore him , while the South Asian countries treated him like he was a living celebrity they would film him and take pictures with him.

I hate those animals roaming in the city. They shouldn’t be allowed within city limits at all unless they are going to the suuq to be sold. I think the police should be able to slaughter any animal they see roaming without its owner and have a good dinner that day.
