Also, the only Yemenis that wear a dirac are those from Aden, the same place that always had a large Somali population. Meanwhile all other Arabs wear different clothes that look similar from Yemen to the Levant. It's clear that the Yemenis that wear it are copying Somalis, just like those East African communities.
