explain the logic in hating your neighbour, you do know any problems they face or encounter will inevitably cause problems for your people too, right? most civilised countries make sure they have the best relationships with neighbors, seeing as its their first point of contact. even african nations have realised that, with close maghreb ties, east african community etc. somalia on its own is already shit enough, cooperating with its neighbors is at leeast a good start, fear of invasion or other delusions is so prehistoric. somalia should ideally have ethiopia as its #1 relation in africa

Those countries in “blocks” have already been dominated economically by their neighbors like Kenya in comparison to the east Africa block, we can hold both our neighbors basically landlocked if things go our way controlling import and export, with this we need to bring down their industry’s for dominance in the region

how will this dominance and force and influence and all this bravado you speak of be exerted without a functioning governemnt controlling all somali lands, no unity or sense of progression within the clan led people, and most importantly, no army or navy? somalia needs to tick all of the boxes required for a functioning country in the 21st century before it even allows itself to daydream about the things youve listed

Economic dominance, were the ones with the resources ie oil and prime location not them, I wasn’t speaking militarily, we have functioning governments in Somalia in PL and SL, nothing wrong with being clan led(I see this as a positive) and the army part is also not correct as there’s a sna now as well as armies for the regional states

Ethiopia has a population of 150 million, somalia has one of 14, so that gdp comparison is disengenous, especially when it’s factored in north Somalia, PL and SL is doing better than Ethiopia which is why we see so many Ethiopian refuges there looking for a better life, truth is it’s gdp is starvation levels at their population level and with its low resources, growing population/debt and being landlocked has no way of going up(Chinese predatory loans aren’t a positive), we on the other hand can go very far

It's oromo refugees and they're coming in illegally and have an easy life. Their numbers are increasing, bringing families in and building bigger communities. Oh and many of them are Christian too...I don't see so much benefit of these Oromos for Somalia
