Adjusting downward for lower voting age (SL
voting age is 16), and upward given lower SL median age and propensity to register, the Dir Woqoyi population is ~3.5 million.

Given a national population of 19.2 million, the Dir Woqoyi share of the national population is ~18%. This is substantially lower than my estimate of ~23% using the 2014 PESS. Dir Woqoyi are ~ 1 million smaller than I thought. This could just be a result of very low levels of voter registration in the first place. Interesting data.
