I highly doubt Ethiopia will succeed, even if the US green light such operation. You have to remember that it was Tigrayans who were the mastermind of ENDF during its peak. Despite this, the big Ethiopia-Eritrea war in the 90/00s lead to a stalemate.

Now, after the Tigray war, they're in a state of despair. Most of the Tigrayan generals and army personnel (the most experienced in ENDF) defected. Many of the advanced/sophisticated military equipments were stored in their region. A significant of remaining arsenal have been depleted in the Tigray war.

ENDF even had to continuously be re-supplied by Iran, China, Turkey and UAE in attempt to gain upper hand. Despite this, ENDF with FANO couldn't even gain advantage of Tigrayans. Not to mention how many military personnel they've lost. After broken promises, Amharas surely won't fight for him again.

What makes you think that Eritrean territories will be annexed?

The west/gcc want war with Eritrea just look at the amount of military cargo in 8 days time UAE brought to Ethiopia. Even the tigrayans couldn’t defeat Eritreans even after using 115k human wave attacks, the current ENDF is depleted and weak it took a combined EDF,Amhara,Afar, Liyuu to defeat TPLF.

Afwerki is also waging a proxy war inside of Ethiopia using Fano. Abiy disbanded Liyuu police’s for a reason his army was decimated fighting TPLF and he needs new soldiers hopefully the Somalis don’t become cannon fodder, right now their overstretched fighting Fano and OLF at the same time.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just like how Turkey's historical mission was taking Constantinople and converting Anatolia, and Russia's mission being ending Nomadism in the Eurasian steppes, the Islamization of Abyssinia is the Somali metahistory.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The Islamization of Abyssinia is the Somali metahistory.

Right now, unfortunately, a Somali's worst enemy is a fellow Somali due to clannism. We need unity amongst ourselves before we destine on that Islamic journey and unite with other Muslims.

You suggested Somalia 'administering' galbeed in your post, but if they recognize it as part of the sovereign territory of Somalia, as @World mentioned, then it would be incentivizing. But nothing less than that.
