did you post this in the vexillology subreddit? If yes, do you know who made up the rumour that Somalia was considering to redesign its flag and having a referendum? If this becomes the new flag then I want to be credited for it in the history books as I made it back in 2016.
Sorry I’m not in liberty to discuss thatdid you post this in the vexillology subreddit? If yes, do you know who made up the rumour that Somalia was considering to redesign its flag and having a referendum?
Sorry I’m not in liberty to discuss that
And you have the gut to form a conspiracy to steal my shit in my home All these flags are de facto mine.
haye sxb, I respect your constitutional right to plead the fifth, but if you want to take credit for the one flag, why not go all out and take credit for kick-starting the entire contest and thus half of the flags OP posted?
Ajuuran was founded before the foundation of the Ottoman Empire, it did not rip off anything from the Turks.
Adal's flag also does not look much like the Ottoman's

Adal and Ajuran were medieval islamic empires. Their flags are better suited to that period and bear a resemblance to the other muslim empires back then.
Also, those flags don’t have that much of a meaning for greater somalia or somalis (which is a 20-21st century issue).
A flag has to be unique and representative. These flags are what you can compare to the cross and it’s adoption in many medieval Christian flags. The use of the cross today is dull and repetitive+confusing.
