There're many countries with different ethnic groups and religions living together in peace. Even in the country you reside, you're protected by law to live in peace and practice your religion. It's understandable to get frustrated with the situation, but no one will ever agree to devide one ethnic group in to several countries. Zero sense in doing that in a volatile continent with thousands of groups vying for independence. Come to terms with that, and work on your region like you've been doing.

Think. There is a reason those two are the most organized maamuls with the most development outside the capital. With independence they would expect to further consolidate and develop their states, regardless what happens on the periphery vis-a-vis border wars and clan conflict. PL without recognition has built airports and ports, and is now in the process of building a massive hospital complex. There is no way development wouldn’t be double or triple with independence. Somalia just holds development back and provides absolutely nothing other than grief and embarrassment. With increased tax revenue from further development, the border issues become easier to deal with.

Somalia works well for as a Mogadishu citizen. You enjoy all the passive benefits of being capital - all the money that flows in and comes there first and the business that can happen under African/European protection.

You can't sell Somalia to other groups who benefit from their independence. You are supposed to really offer good leadership/effective governance. The FGS should be the best run government in Somalia not a pretty shitty qabil government/most corrupt like it is now. It should be by far the best and take the best talent. Like if you are not offering this then you can't scare people out of their interests. You are benefiting very nicely but others don't care if they risk everything.

Fear mongering doesn't work really, only being effective works either people give your their soveriengty because you can run it well and in their interests and they can gain by it or you are better at fighting than them.

I realised a long time ago, my tipping point was 2009, but HSM 1.0 in 2012 was the funeral. Even tho from 2005 I became pro federal(abdilahi vision gave me hope) and I was assuming all Somalis would too, we finally found a solution out of this.

Before 2005 I didn't even watch Somalia still in total despair from 99 visit to Mogadishu, I wrote it off as a state and people on life support who need the end of life process to begin.

It's amazing you didn't lose much time on Somalinimo are u at the tipping point or is it officially buried.

It will go from clans to sub clans. And then sub clans to sub sub clans.

The difference is unlike major qabils intra clan warfare can be buried pretty easily and people move on. People usually accept intra clan social structures/hierarchies.

The international community doesn't want more Somali begging bowls shoved in their face. Why would they recognize even more Somali states and have more begging bowls demanding more money when the money is stolen and not used for their intended purpose? Aid to Somalis is flushed money down the toilet; they never meet their objectives. Two Somali countries is too much for the world; the world doesn't need even 1. Somalis are not a large ethnic group but are the masters of 2 countries and despite their small size have significant political representation in two others. The world is not entertaining Somali shenanigans. They need to learn to get along. Somalis are not special and their backward clans don't need UN seats. The small Isa clan won the international politics lottery and it's a damn shame.

Garowe already registered all homes in a numbering scheme and streets in its local govt database and is even mapped to gps. The houses were given their house number plate registrations, but Street signs are going up next. Puntitequeen u got any update when this goes onto google maps so I can get off airport and put in a house number and street address.

I don't think it's a very complicated process once the numbering of homes and streets are set up physically, it's then allocating streets and homes to the gps coordinates(longitudes and latitudes), the dude is lying to you as if it's some nuclear physics venture.

Why you think I want Puntites to do some fund raising on a satellite into near orbit not even deep space so we can add gps system software to it which will give longitudes and latitudes of every part of earth down to fine precision also, it gives u live feed channel to a command center where any area in PL or world can be monitored day and night(surveillance). It can lead to future generations building anything from drones to missiles or nuke warheads on missiles and the mapping path for the missile to the coordinates is precise. It can even be given various layers of topology, infra red, xray, heat zones(which will help soldiers or police as satellite can tell them heat signatures of enemies in home or building or nature, etc.

A real game changer satellite adds so much capability peaceful or security.

Their busy on minor shit not game changing investment that the future can use forever as infrastructure.
