You need to start operating in reality. The EAC is the portion of Black Africa that I was referring too, I remember reading an article claiming that when the EAC becomes a united sovereign state they'll move on to the next stage and push for Black African unification.

In my opinion, we should not shy away from forging stronger bonds with our Natufian cousins in the Arab World & support an EU style org when the time is right. I do not wish for Somalia to join the EAC for obvious reasons.
I understand, and ofc somalia should strengthen ties with arabs.
But do you honestly think the EAC is gonna achieve anything? They can't build a single state that goes on par with even south Africa. There is no such thing as black people in Africa, we are a continent of many peoples. Eac will fall apart or become useless and non functioning if they try move ahead. The things the EAC will achieve means that african leaders will have to give up certain sovereignty and personal power. Do you think Ugandan president will share power with the tanzanians? Absurd.

2 paths for Somalis, choose wisely:

It's not one or the other we can be both Arab politically and be part of the EAC. The EAC will integrate the economies and hopefully be a net positive. Immigration will also be loosened between member states eventually. I'm glad most of the development in the south goes toward Xamar, we need a city for them to migrate to. It's always been a hope of mine for Xamar to be multicultural city not just qabil wise, but with all different types of nationalities. We should make it easy and invite many Ugandans, Rwandans, Kenyan Muslims, etc into the capital to make it a diverse bustling city. This is the future I envision for the south.

I don't mind having positive relations with the EAC, but I'm also an Ethno-Racialist and do not wish to see the Natufian blood of Somalis become diluted.

We should stay out of the EAC and limit our relations to just being good trading partners.

What do you mean hopefully immigrantion.
My god you guys are done. Somalia is only 18 mil. The Christian bantus are over 100 million. If open immigration is a thing then somalis as an ethnicity are finished.

At this point I'd rather become a part of Ethiopia, why bother fighting for freedom for galbeed just to be absorbed into another Christian state?

Well that is where we disagree. I want Southern somalia to be completely integrated with the rest of East Africa. Once Al-S are finished hopefully, there is a lot of untapped resources and business opportunities to be made in that area. It will be like the California gold rush and I hope the borders are open to invite all those nations to participate in growing the economy. Muslims mainly obviously.

You contradicted yourself, you can't have it both ways. Either Somalia full integrates with East Africa and opens it's borders up to all EAC citizens regardless of religious affiliation or does not join the bloc at all.

You can't discriminate who comes into Somalia based on religious affiliation within the EAC.

I fully support Somalis having free movement with EAC member states it will be in our favour I don’t know what exactly you guys are scared of we will expand our business opportunities across east/central Africa

Even if it's Christians as long as they pay the Jizya this is okay. They must know they will live in a Sharia compliant nation, most would not want to thought. That's why I said it would be mostly Muslims. As long as the south becomes multicultural, I'll be happy that's all I want.

That Jizya law wouldn't fly in the EAC. Somalia would get the boot for that.

The EAC is a secular regional project.

You confuse the EAF with the EAC. The latter does not dictate the laws of member states.
EAC wants to gradually move into the eaf.
Joining the eac is gonna get somalia involved with integration and federalism with more than 100 million bantu Christians. Walahi it's over.

Right, but the EAF is their ultimate goal. Wouldn't it be awkward for Somalia to join something they're not onboard with 100%?

Everyone knows EAF is not happening. You shouldn't be too scared @Idrus what I'm describing is the best case scenario for the south. We cannot keep waiting for them to fix their issues after all these years. It is better to immigrate a population that has ideas and is motivated to create a bustling economy. The native population will learn from them gradually. You invite them in and you will see a new south I tell you. It will be more cohesive and have a brighter future ahead.
