I can confirm that two Somali girls have been stabbed to death in the south side despite limited information by the media

This year has been terrible for murders. Ottawa usually gets around 10 murders a year.

Two female victims are dead and a young man is in custody as Ottawa police investigate the city’s 23rd and 24th homicides of 2016 late Friday.

Ottawa police arrested a young man who had earlier been seen, by a Citizen reporter and others, on train tracks near where they cross McCarthy Road, about 500 metres north of the crime scene.

The young man, who was wearing dark clothing and stood with his hands in his pockets, was seen at 11 p.m., and arrested about 15 minutes later.

An entire block of townhouses in the 3200 block area of McCarthy Drive was behind crime-scene tape, along with several parking lots, as major crime officers combed the scene late Friday evening.

6 or so of those look like Somali names. Wth is going on over there, one guy was stabbed 18 times at 19 years old.

29 and 32..

This reminds me of one mental brother who got up in the middle of the night and stabbed his brother in the heart, killing him there and then.

He has been in prison ever since, about 10 years now.

Horta we can't criticize anyone here but families need to take precaution and not to have knives laying around and never to sleep in the same room and have your door locked at night, that's if you can't institutionalize him.
