Iβm allergic to cambuulo. Misir sounds like something an Arab wannabe would eat.You ate too much cambuulo as a child, and now you look like a gremlin. How much convincing do you need?
Eat Misir, become a new man.
Lol, it's Northeast African food. I have only eaten Somali misir (also called caddas) (which is souplike - had it as a side thing for last dinner) and the version of caddas of Sudan, while they have misir as well in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Caddas is a good breakfast. I haven't had it in many years, though.Iβm allergic to cambuulo. Misir sounds like something an Arab wannabe would eat.
Sounds like a vegetarian dish maybe. Personally I have the Somali curse of not being able to have a meal without meat(pause nigga) in it.Lol, it's Northeast African food. Mexicans and Cambuulo eaters have a lot in commonNice play on words
but if someone who doesnβt know how to cook makes it. Itβll be tough and the taste of iron will overwhelm the person. Itβs cooked best with veggies and heavy seasoning. Thereβs no better dish, but clearly experiences with the dish vary.
You need to combine beans and rice (or some type of grain) to get a complete protein. And try it with sesame oil instead of olive oil it would taste betterAs a nomad, I prefer sorghum (garow) and barley (sareen) instead, both are stable diet rich in proteins, and other minerals.
Is this the same dish people call 'badar' ?
Definitely, a southern dish, I discovered recently, but had it without sugar, no rice, and with yoghurt & olive oil, and did not like it at first till I learnt about its kCal & protein compounds, and it is now a stable stock for heavy gym days.
Itβs a good side dish, and it should be a cheap food option to give to the poor in Somalia, but making it our national dish isnβt the best way to display Somali cuisine,Mexicans and Cambuulo eaters have a lot in common![]()
