It's just a general statement. There is no point in delving into the Mushrik past. I only know of the monotheistic favor Allah has bestowed upon me and the Somali people.

History is history. If people wish to research it and have an interest in it there is nothing about that which will stop you from worshipping Allah. Then again Takfiring on the other hand isn't the wisest thing to do lol.
