Did you know marriage increases wealth?

You have to be able to afford it. It is haraam for a man to marry multiple women it he cannot afford it.

One of the rights your wives have over you is that you can provide.

Islamically if a man cannot provide and is too poor he has to fast.

But yes, marriage is barakah and Allah will bless you with additional wealth. That however does not mean you should marry when you have nothing.
Her food clothing and shelter is all the rights she has over him. Not a 10k re decoration every few years. Nor constant useless expenses. The prophets 9 houses were often empty and didnt have much more than dates and water to eat. Marriage is firstly about curbing zina and secondly for procreation.

Women will get everything they want period.
Bring your proof or stay quiet, jealousy doesnt exist in jannah so women will be content with their one husband. Bring proof from hadith or Quran otherwise stay quiet, the scholars already ruled on this issue.

Of course sis.

Allah does not favour men over women.

Whatever we desire shall be ours in the hereafter and if for some reason we have active libidos, why not have a harem of assorted men?

Why stick to one earth husband.

We didn't suffer for that :oh6b81q:

One of the best things that people long for in the Hereafter is, for men, the women of Paradise, namely al-hoor al-‘iyn, and for women there is an equivalent delight. By His great wisdom, Allaah has not mentioned what the women will have as the equivalent of al-hoor al-‘iyn for men, and that is due to modesty and shyness. How can He encourage them to seek Paradise by mentioning something that they are too shy and modest to mention or speak about themselves? So He has simply hinted at it, as in the verse (interpretation of the meaning):

“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire

-----

It was narrated that Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If a woman from among the people of Paradise were to look out over the earth, she would illuminate everything that is in between them, and would fill everything that is in between them with fragrance. And the scarf on her head is better than this world and everything in it.”

If she were to show her face, it would shine between heaven and earth; how beautiful is the light of her face and how beautiful the scent that is filling the space between heaven and earth. As for her garments, the scarf that she places on her head is better than the beauty of this world and all that is in it of delights and pleasure and natural beauty and splendid palaces and other kinds of luxuries. Glory be to their Creator, how great He is, and congratulations to the one for whom she is and he is for her.

----------
The situation of the believing woman in Paradise will be better than the situation of the hoor al-‘iyn; she will be higher in status and more beautiful
-------------
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) was asked: Does the description of the hoor al-‘iyn include the women of this world?

He replied:

It seems to me that the women of this world will be better than the hoor al-‘iyn, even in outward appearance, and Allaah knows best.

A person can do all of the above and still repent. Zina is no less haram based on frequency of prior indulgence. A person can commit 100 zina ,repent, and get married so as to not commit zina anymore. Are you saying god wont except that servants attempts of repentance and righteousness? Are you saying once you do wrong you have the go ahead to continue forever? God is the oft repentance accepting and the oft merciful.
Sincere repentance is the exception of course, but you need to realise that the vast majority of people who partake in these things don't even think they are doing anything "wrong" hence the need for repentance never factors in.

Another thing you need to realise is that if repentance is accepted the consequence of the evil remains, when our father Adam repented and his repentance was accepted by our Lord he didn't go back to Paradise but came down to the Earth.

Likewise if I am addicted to ography and my sincere repentance is accepted, remnants of the consequences of those addictions continues to stay with me.

Hence going into such a union while knowing it's haram with the intention of making it up for repentance is mockery of our deen, and if you go in completely ignorant like most people, you will never seek repentance anyway.

God and his prophet dont shy from the truth. You are uttering nonsense, unfounded in the quran or sunnah. Auuzubillah, ilahiyo xishodka no so celi. Men and women are not equal in every respect. Women were created from man and for man. Polygomous prophets have always existed, but never has a polygamous women ever lived, save a harlet.

You and @TekNiKo think women were created for men lol. Clearly there's nothing else to add to this debate. Even in the Quran Allah SWT says women and men are different but equal in rewards.
Also @TekNiKo you were talking about toxic masculinity in another thread I knew it wasn't sincere.

I don’t think much changes in a woman’s life, in fact marriage is better for men than it is for women, it’s been proven. Most men become more responsible and less reckless.

I couldn't agree more. May Allah SWT grant us pious spouses who protected themselves from Zina.

You dont know what their intentions are. Your only jurisdiction is the outwardly, god is the one that knows both what they reveal and what they conceal. You do not know the sincerity of a person's repentance.
How do they do it in America?

Because in Europe, this has been happening for a very long time, especially in the UK, where middle-aged Somali mothers are known to be "single" yet constantly popping out babies for "boyfriends".
The husbands work...

Food, clothing and shelter is expensive in this day and age along with the food, clothing and shelter of your children and their education.

So you would rather lessen the quality of life of your wife and kids so that you can partake in a polygamous marriage you can't afford?

It is an Islamic fact that it is haraam for a man to marry more than 1 if he can't afford it. The Quraan and Sunnah make it clear.

We already have a community problem of men marrying more than one despite their wives being on benefits or having to scrub the backside of an elderly pensioner just to make ends meet.

A lot of men are irresponsible and lack family commitment to their wives and kids. They leave behind a string of miserable wives in their wake and an abundance of kids who are neglected and discarded.

If the husband works, he should provide for his spouse and children and not force her to claim she's a single sinner with bastard children.

This is haram and has ruined the Somali name.

Exactly.

These men want to force their wives to live impoverished lives because they want to sleep with multiple women.

I respect men who actually admit that the only think they care about is getting their sexual desires met and that their children having a poor quality of life does not matter to them.

Own your selfishness, we can all see it anyway.

Do you actually believe that Allah SWT will provide men with what they desire and force women to live like they are still on earth?

I don't think so mate.

Also, if men have their harems of hurul ayn, why do they care what their wives (or ex wives) are doing?
Are the wives supposed to watch or join, disgusting, no? o_Oo_Oo_O

Selfish to block women from having their needs met, whatever they may be.

It is clear as day. The consequences of marrying multiple women without a real penny to rub together has caused a lot of dysfunction in the Somali community. Many on here i can imagine are victim of this and have been abandoned by their fathers, however instead of learning from this, they want to carry on this vicious cycle of neglect, just to that they can fulfil their lusts.

No one is saying polygamy is haraam or not to do it. Just make sure you are financially stable and have the capabilities of looking after multiple families, without neglecting their financial and emotional needs.

I just want the next generation of Somali men to be conscious family men that put the well being of their existing wife and kids first. Without a strong happy family unit, we are not going to progress.

Look at all the men getting high blood pressure over even the thought of women being autonomous human beings that might want the same things as them :uCkf6mf::uCkf6mf:

Newsflash gentlemen, women desire beautiful men too. All of us do, including your coworker, the random woman walking down the street, and even your own sweet mother. We all want Jason Mamoa equivalents.

And the fact that some of you are so terrified about female sexuality enough to get angry about it makes me laugh. Men are so pathetic :icon lol::icon lol::icon lol:
