Also, studies show that in ALL races, the women tend to be lighter than their partners. itâs mostly men that select for lighter skin. if you see a full black couple, the woman is lighter, a Somali couple, the woman is usually lighter, an Indian couple the woman is lighter. I mean yeah but men can just approach all of the women they want to until they find one, where as most women have to have men approach them, that is how they are different. If more white men approached Bw, you would see rates similar to that of bm/ww rates because a lot of bm approach ww, where as most wm just donât becuase they donât want to. If it was socially more acceptable that women all of a sudden approached men more, you would see more wm/bw relationships, in higher social circles, 83% of black men who (who have options) make 100k/yr marry Bw, but only 78% of Bw (who also have more options) marry black men, even though there are more bm who make 100k a year compared to black women as well. Yeah historically and modern day is totally different situations and mindsets at the end of the day everybody is only as loyal as their options thatâs goes for every group the more options a group has the less loyal they are
i know that, but my issue is the guys on here acting like men and women are the same. Women on average arenât going to go for a guy just because heâs lighter. Theyâll choose the darker guy that is tall and his his shit together over a light skin man any day. Weâre not as appearance focused which is why colorism impacts women more. Who bleaches more? Men or women? Who is sidelined more due to color men or women? Creating the impression that men and women select the same for partners is very disingenuous.
