The world spend like 1.5 billion on atmis. A additional couple billion on aid that goes to somali govt and food stuff. It’s very low stakes for countries like America. Their metric for success is probably reducing piracy, no shabab attacks outside Somalia, and ensuring no Americans die inside country which Trump probably will ensure by pulling them like first term.
