Somalis choose those names because of the deen and not because of them being arab.
Nearly all of the prophets named in Quran were Jewish NOT Arab. Same for Luqman (AS) he was not an Arab nor was Adam (AS) nor was Nuh(AS).
Its to do with the love of deen and not the love or Arabnimo.
Arabs do name themselves Bilal who was a former slave of Xabashi origin. They name themselves after Salman who was a Persian. They name themselves after Suhayb who was a former slave of Roman Byzantine origin. May Allah be pleased with them all. In fact, all of these sahabas would have been looked down on by the Arabs, if not for Islam.
Having said that i got a soft spot for Somali names.
