SSC could be consisting of two big sub clans of Daroods alongside maybe two minor, but the idea of SSC is not based on qabiil, but staying in Somalia, basically unionist Somalilanders, that had to make their own state because the so democratic Somaliland is not very keen with anyone who is not subscribed to the idea of "The British borders are secret". If SSC wanted to have a clan based state, they would joined Puntland, who has also a large darood subclan.
"Because they don't join there cousins, it shows its not tribal" such a stupid arguement.
If SSC wasn't tribal, why wouldn't they join puntland? Why would they want a Dhulbahante state.
The simple fact is, they Federal system requires 2 of the original states. Dhulos don't even have a whole 1 region. Per Federal system they cannot exist unless a concession is made like Galmudug.
Knowing that, they still are pushing for a clan state that they control rather than joining PL and working something out in the future when the constitution is completed. But no, they want a tribal state run by them because they don't want MJ over them. Yet are pushing for them to be over Warsangeli since they need sanaag.
Whil JL is mixed clan wise, its controled by OG. PL by MJ. A third Darood state isn't happening unless they can force the hand and somehow take caynabo and cerigabo etc.

After the catastrophic defeat and mass expulsion of the Harti minority in Ceerigaabo, SSC admin finally admits crushing xasuuq pleading for the 50,000 former Harti resident who overnight become internally displaced (Qaxooti) they're also pleading for SFG, IGAD and International Community to interfere in favor of their minority Harti clan. Clearly they're being overwhelmed on two very distant fronts.
