The average rainfall in Garowe is 133 mm. If Garowe rains like south cities and northwest are exposed to, you would see torrents, but there is no rain there.

Garoowe is dry as hell. It’s also very small. My neighbourhood in Xamar is much more populated and bigger no joke. A town that is barely 100k that is allowed to keep and use it’s taxes internally cannot be compared to a city with 3 million + people that’s taxes are used to fund the FGS

you guys shouldn't even wait for HSM or Farmaajo, the government doesn't exist or function bro. You need to do it yourself without their help, Hormuud can literally fix all this for less than 5% of their yearly income if they wanted to. All they need to do is hire some Chinese contractors, they would fix this ASAP and for a fair price

These guys are really comparing an arid climate to a humid one like Xamar. Even the weather forecasts show there was a magnitude in heaviness of the rainfall. Forget the fact Xamar has 3 million people and a degmo like Hodan is much larger than Garowe.

Regardless I do agree we need a good drainage system in Xamar

Good to see Hormuud help out. In the meantime we should invest in these trucks as it will be a help for less developed areas too
