Good try kid its depend on seasons, not just we have heavy rain in puntland, even Puntland hit by cyclon that south never had once!!.

As flood, yes Garowe and couple major cities has drainage system. But in the other hand Qardho hasnt !!.


Again we dont call ourself perfect, but atleast Puntland ahead than Somalia in infrastructure, if its road or cities masterplans.

Garoowe is dry as hell. It’s also very small. My neighbourhood in Xamar is much more populated and bigger no joke. A town that is barely 100k that is allowed to keep and use it’s taxes internally cannot be compared to a city with 3 million + people that’s taxes are used to fund the FGS

Nobody uses "taxes" from Xamar outside of Xamar stop lying.

In fact Xamar has disproportionately gotten government and private funding for the last 100+ years.

However, if you really believe in what you are saying then let's move the capital from Xamar, since being the capital is such a burden on it.

The average rainfall in Garowe is 133 mm. If Garowe rains like south cities and northwest are exposed to, you would see torrents, but there is no rain there.
And there is no drainage system in the whole city

Actually garowe doesn’t rain like the south but when it’s rains , it rain noone stop for couple days , the nugaal seasonal river goes straight into garowe all the way to eyl and then goes into Indian ocean
