Personally I would prefer to see a developed isaaq state over controlling other peoples lands whilst your own people die of hunger. If that means I “capitulate to Darood demands” then I’ll accept that

Darood are a boogeyman but not with your politics. Your politics empowers them and disempowers you for no real gain other than please like me, lol. That's why the low T is a fair point.
Darood deserve nothing but contempt.
Somaliland's independence is a real problem for them so they fight it night and day and you want to give up your only political lifeline to them? They can use the legal authorities in Mogadishu to wrap up any business you think you have going on and favour their own regions just like before and Berbera will dry up before you eyes.
You need to get with the politics or the real politiks.

They cant see the logic if SL wants to leave SOM then the same claim SCC is making should also be given validity. Honestly they shot themselves in the foot. You cant make someone want to join you by waging war on them,

Those are lands where Isaaq live. What does that mean though? It means that the national government of Darood will just by pass your areas for development, investment etc, it's not rocket science really. You are practicing google street view politics and they practice national and international politics. You will get isolated and shut down just like under Kacaan which is their dominant central ideology. They don't have the fire power to do genocide and replace Isaaq with Ogaden like they tried last time but they will just isolate you and negate you out of any kind of self-sufficiency until you come begging to them.

I'm gonna try and get to the heart of what you are thinking but basically it's this; You don't have a license to develop your tribal areas in the way you see fit and to engage with other countries and governments. Somaliland does this because it's a defacto country. It doesn't consider itself a part of Somalia and doesn't defer to the national politics. Puntland is realizing what you don't yet understand that the central government would sooner make you poor and under control than have anything like you currently experience. And this is not going to ever change. No new Hawiye or Darood are going to turn up as they've been handed the FGS and if the FGS collapses or falls there will be no new one.
