Personally I would prefer to see a developed isaaq state over controlling other peoples lands whilst your own people die of hunger. If that means I “capitulate to Darood demands” then I’ll accept that

The map is inaccurate. In Awdal, the Issa population has significantly decreased, with only a few pastoralists visiting during the rainy seasons. They primarily reside around Zeila, where they remain a minority, as many have relocated to Djibouti. Notably, the Gadabuursi is the second-largest Somali clan in Djibouti.

In the Fafan zone, the Gadabuursi have historically settled in Awbare. In the Sitti zone, they are found in Demble, as well as in Dire Dawa and Harar. The Gadabuursi have occupied the Harawa Valley since antiquity(it's our bread basket).
