Now I understand why they are trying to expand to Buhoodle, 40 km is too small.
Xadhxadhan belongs to Dhulos and Riyoxidho belongs to HY (Musa Ismaaciil, Reer Cawl),
they are cramped between those two clans in Togdheer. HJ southern Somaliland territory
is from Coodanle to Sibidhley (40 km). In comparison HY southern Somaliland territory
starts from Riyoxidho to Labi Sagaale (Isaxaaq &Cidagale) a whopping 120 km which is
3 times bigger than that of HJ when you add the rest of Garhajis it is over 170 km
from Riyoxidho to Kaam Tuug in Salahley district.

Qorilugud and Qabri Huluul are in north west Buhoodle district. The problem though
is the HJ aren't able to expand eastwards in the border area because there is already
Xadh Xadhan settlement there were's the north west Buhoodle district is not heavily
settled so there is opportunity there.

The oil is in H-Y land so are the fertile lands, that is huge economic potential. The only reason Berbera is strategic is because of the deep sea
port there, it is not fit for living though, that is why it is deserted most of the time.

HY has the smallest amount of cities, degaans, tuuloyiin on the main road in Somaliland. HA are from west of hargeysa to a bit passed shiikh, and HJ are from burco to Oog.....Now that I think of it, I can't even name one HY city, degaan, tuulo, on the main road throughout Somaliland. LOOL....waryaadhaheen maa meel cidla oo aan gaadhi iman karin baad degantihiin???

Btw Habar Awal are the richest somali clan bar non. And the somali clan with the largest middle class, so stay in your lane folks.

@Dhoobe That is to do with the past politics of 1960s, while HY were sleeping HA politicians like Cigaal convinced the
Chinese it must go through Berbera , Gabiley etc. To answer your question though there is deegans largely owned by H-Y
that the main road goes through such as New Hargeisa district, Haleeya , Diinqal all those are Isaxaaq deegans. Recently a road
was constructed to Ceerigaabo as well, urban H-Y benefit a lot whether they are in New Hargeisa or Ceerigaabo. More
needs to be done though as lots of H-Y deegaans are cut off from the main road that is why the Burco - Oodweyne - Hargeisa
road is important that area is huge. Areas bordering the Haud are important because that
is where the largest amount of livestock is raised, you can't raise livestock in the Guban mountains Lol.

Its true HJ did benefit from the main road from East Burco to Caynabo but they don't
have much to show for because Caynabo is not a large town say compared to Gabiley
or Gashamo . During the 90s wars the Sacad Yoonis understood the economic importance
of having access to the main road so they set up isbaaro check point in East Oog previously
settled by Dhulos and to this day they took over.


SY dominate Oog economically, the best hotel there is Sool Safari hotel
and the richest man there is called Axmed Ismaaciil Khalif Gaane (Axmed Buur)
who owns this hotel.

East Hargeisa all the way to Dhubato is pure Garhajis territory (Isaxaaq and Cidagale). It is the same amount of paved road Sacad Muse control (from West Hargeisa to Gabiley). Haleya, Aw Barkadhle, Diinqal towns etc are all controlled by Isaxaaq and Cidagale. When you add south Hargeisa to Salahley road that was paved it is a impressive over 120 km of paved road in western Garhajis territory.
