It's too late for independence. Somaliland will be sitting at the negotiation table in the next 2-5 years. Somaliland is losing leverage because Somalia is developing. Somaliland's best move is to negotiate favorable terms with the Somali government which would probably include a formal apology and a remembrance week for all those who died during the campaign against the Isaak cities.
