yep. think the further right your plot is, it means the more Eurasian. Usually the more south you go in Somaliweyn the more likely you are to be further left.

It seems that way as of now, it could change in the future when there is more sample among Somalis in every region. The north being more Eurasian is inconclusive, but like Reformed J and Garaad Awal said, at the moment, the vahaduo results favours northern to have a little minuscule (i.e. tiny) Arabian in the north compared to south. Your result is actually close to north which is on average between 3% to 6%, but some northern got 9%, 10% and above which some suggested that maybe their outliers.

Your maternal are from Mudug, i believe Mudug is Midland and not further south, maybe your ancestor have connections from puntland or maybe mudug is a melting point that northern and southern came to settle. Its all just a theory, but there isn't much difference between north and south within Somalia. When you compare Somali:Somalia and Somali:Kenya there is an obvious gap that many dont want to talk about as its a sensitive topic.

agreed brother. I'm from Middle Shabelle. Being one of the only people doing all this from that gobol will help develop theories as we have larger pools.
