Not a single Puntland city saw any destruction during civil war , in that same time frame we managed to completely rebuild hargeisa and make it bigger and better than any PL city . A shit ton of Planders still land in hargeisa and then drive to their tuulo because we get better airlines landing here .

Also we pay our soldiers and they don’t.

If you want to see the difference between SL and PL just look at Tukaraq . SL is organized and able to hold the dusty tuulo for months , PL is disorganized , disheveled, defeated , and wandering around the desert eating hyenas and doing hit and run attacks .

Hargeisa no clean water ? Do you think hargeisa is some magic place we’ve never been?The only “areas getting clean water” are the ones that were designed to get it. Initially they only prepared for hargeisa to be a city of 300,000 people. It’s now a city of close to a million . They’ve added more pipes it’s just that they have been slow to address the issue so usually people pay a premium for new houses with water pipes . That’s why a lot of people still have no flowing water . The government is moving slow adding more pipes in certain neighborhoods and the price is too high for a lot of people especially locals to build a house in the half of the city that got pipe systems .

And the houses without water pipes get their water brought to them by the water trucks so it’s not like you have no access to nice water if you don’t have pipes .

I understand where recognition comes from, that’s why I said we can’t be blamed for that. Certain people will always hate on us so that’s not an issue we can concern ourselves with.

However we don’t need the UN. The UN runs the show, not Mogadishu . We will not talk with failmaajo we will talk to his masters . We go straight to the main man not the middle man. Cheeseman doesn’t control 1 square mile of Mogadishu let along our recognition.

Are you stupid? The port would easily generate at least 7 $billions a year, and it will handle 40% of Ethiopia's imports and exports, and would also create thousands of jobs, so that our people benefit it too.

it's our first major investments without recognition and many more other major investments will follow soon.

A Chinese company has won the bid to operate the Port of Darwin under a 99-year lease deal worth $506 million, NT Chief Minister Adam Giles has announced.

Mr Giles announced the Port of Darwin will have a new operator under an agreement signed today with the Landbridge Group worth $506 million, in a deal he described as "a fantastic outcome for the Territory".

Under the terms of the agreement, Mr Giles said the Territory would lease the Darwin Port land and facilities of East Arm Wharf, including the Darwin Marine Supply Base, and Fort Hill Wharf to the Chinese-owned Landbridge Group for 99 years.

The Territory will retain Stokes Hill Wharf, Fisherman's and Hornibrook's Wharves and Frances Bay facilities.

There will be no forced redundancies during the term of the current enterprise agreement (which terminates in June 2018)

The thing is you have to understand negotiations and who has leverage . That’s why since the time of Siad , berbera has been sold to foreigners for chump change. Somalia / somaliland aren’t in positions to negotiate .

Im still skeptical though alot of Somalis in SL dont say this but many jobs you only get depending on your clan just take a look at egal AirPort
