No not really this desire to escape the 'black' label hurts us even Ethiopians who share the same world view and even Nigerians etc, know how to operate in western society. why do you consider this a good thing out of interest btw no judgement i just want to know what good this does for us and if this were to go through what if other horners protest and refuse the classification leaving us as the only one and singling us out.

Ahh I see you mean solely from a effort point of view it would be a success, I hear that, in fairness depending on where you live the UK is starting to acknowledge us and I know in Canada our presence is felt even if it isnt the best, i just hope its a good one not a bad one in the times to come
