Is some lies.

Can anyone give me some evidence of kacaan propaganda? Like actual material?

Kacaan propaganda excited but it wasn't to further anything other than a Marxist or 'scientific socialist' agenda.

I'm open minded and would like further info about this 'kacaan propaganda'

You claim to be open minded but right off the bat you dismiss the notion of anything other than furthering the Socialist or Marxist agenda didn't happen....:weirdo:

I don't follow. What do you mean by kacaan propaganda other than what you've already mentioned?

What have you been told?

I hear a lot about it but I haven't seen what the propaganda is or what the counter arguments are.

Doesn't exist.

If anything, anti Kacaan propaganda is hell bent on historical revisionism. I've seen people here claiming MSB had Abdirashid assassinated when that couldn't be farther than the truth

I've seen people give them absolutely no props for building the deep water port in Berbera, the national highway that's literally the only decent road in Somalia, or even the Somali script. :O27GWRK:

I was about to write a long post but i deleted it...so I'll say a few things instead

If somalis can't agree on the events that took place under the kacaan, or whether these events were justified, or whether the kacaan was a brutal dictatorship or not, I doubt we can agree on whatever history this Kacaan decided to create:lol:.

Sadly due to tribalism the only unbiased source for somali history is non somali ones. When you read these sources and do a comparative analysis to what the kacaan historians Idaajaa and Aw Jaamac wrote, then you'll get your answers:lol:

Kacaan propaganda existed in the form of songs and poetry. The vast majority of Somalis were poor, illiterate and uninformed and the best way to disseminate information was in the arts.

2 ports and a highway is nothing to brag about when you are in power for 21 years.

Although when the ports are literally the only thing keeping the statelets afloat, they're a pretty big deal. 95% of revenue comes from those ports, and the highway is still the only road in use.

25 years after the government what exactly have we accomplished? At least we could've had modest Africa tier development under the Kacaan but now we're two decades behind shitholes like Ethiopia or Malawi.

Are we going to leave out the fact that those ports, roads and any other major development project was thanks to aid by either the Soviets,Italians,Chinese, or Americans......? Before the 77 war the country was developing at a modest rate for a newly independent nation but throughout the 80s it was afloat on loans or aid from the gulf countries and the U.S........

The only credit that can be given due is they managed to keep the country stable and together albeit with harsh methods....

All ports and highways in Somalia were funded and built by russians/italians/chinese. This is like Siilaanyo government taking all the credit for upgrading HRG airport, the project that was solely funded by Kuwaitis.

The situation we are in now doesn't justify the actions of that government. Only Berbera and Bosaso were build during the Kacaan and each had little economic significance, Bosaso finished during the collapse of the government. But for argument sake, lets say 95% of revenue came from ports, that alone should make you think.
