I am multi clan, hawiye and darod both equal and look at me? it's cause I am exposed to the hawiye side and I know what they are like and the hate they have for Majerten. Trying to convince a single clan majerten is the hardest though, they don't have the experience.

Apparently the prime minister is heading towards qardho to meet with the kingdom where as gaas is going to garacad..

Eventhough reer garacad are expecting the PM, the welcoming banners with the prime minister's name are everywhere...yet only gaas will be arriving.

Yeah the single clan people tend to be softest thinking other clans are good because they see only the enemy within their single region and exposed to that, they should stay out of national politics. We need people with experience on the hawiye. Either you can gain that experience through marriage, like me and be exposed to both side growing up and hearing what your reer abti say about majerten or you can gain it by living in mogadishu and being exposed to it.

So it's not necessary to be born thru hawiye to gain knowledge, just living there for a long time can also develop your knowledge about this stubborn enemy. You can also gain knowledge through by living side by side with hawiye like the omar maxamud do. So there is multiple ways to gain knowledge about them. Send those single clan reer bari folks for trips to mogadishu and galkacyo, we should expose them early on about shisheeye clan so they wise up as they get older.

Look Hobyo has been in progress for a long time and no one has problems with Hobyo being developed, the federal government even supports it and sent investers its not our fault that its a insecure region and alshabab is a threat. Hobyo and garacad port can both be built I see no problem with it.

Im actually amazed with these people, I have never said anything about Hobyo and most puntites welcome it so why are they trying to hold us back building our own port?

Yesterday for a second I actually appreciated the federal government for the first time because not only did the PM for the first time visit but also give us green light and support development in our region compared to all other previous leaders that tried to destroy puntland. PM Kheyre has my respect now though.

It's impossible to penetrate hawiye them as their political views are all united. Right now u have islamists(dam jadid, al ictisam, ahlul sunnah), then u got federalists, and u got centralists(islamists mostly and old school siyad day admirers), you got also 'independents' who hold no political view and just want to be called president and switch across all sides. That will never happen in puntland due to 'axdiga 98' we are one political view from Galkacyo to Bosaso to Las anod to Erigavo to Buhoodle. We are all federalists and ask any harti he will never dare say he isn't a federalist, he may seek positions in somaliland or mogadishu like majerten do and be a trojan horse for hawiye or isaaq but our elders are settled on this matter in 98. We have one political platform and it's federalism, notice not a single harti elder will dare switch from that platform? so they hand us a united population from galkacyo to bosaso to erigavo and las anod so our politicians then can compete for power, politics, development, and so forth. Let me reitrate again why the PM going to Garacad is importantl

There was a self initiative by Mudug Elders, businessmen and intellectuals to start a port.

They wanted the Prime Minister to lay the stone for several reasons.

1. The Prime Minister brings legitimacy, PR and Photo opportunity which will help them make easy to raise money from a wide pool.

2. It would bring political approving as to build an airport or port needs federal government for outside companies to commit to the project.

3. Thirdly if the people raise a certain amount they canb always lobby the federal government for more funds and to complete it citing the Prime Minister laying founding stone and thus ensuring federal government supportnin completing the project. It is like de fact cheque once a Prime Minister or President lays stone to a project that they will most likely co
