It was just a example since we were discussing that possible scenario if Somaliland ever gets recognized.Until then it doesn't matter all of Somaliland is recognized in international law as part of Somalia. Ain't nobody going anywhere.

But if Somaliland is indeed awarded international recognition why would it sell Awdal?
Unless of course you are going to argue seceding Awdal and SSC being the condition for ictiraaf than clearly

The economic potential is a lot higher in the south, because;
because Ethiopian exports make such a big part of SL economy, if they would get independence Ethiopia would have three countries to choose for exports meaning competition between the ports lower revenue for all and cheaper ports fee for Ethiopia. SL GDP would tank heavily in such a scenario.
- High population meaning more people can contribute to the country (manufracting capabilty among others)
- Fertile lands, the south is home to the two only rivers in the country if utilised well the south can have a massive food surplus.
- Resources, people forget the massive Uranuim deposits in central Somalia ( one of the biggest in the world) and huge proven gas reserves of our coast.

Somaliland would get a South Sudan like scenerio where after given independence it would be a free for all; Dhullos and Gadabuursi not wanting to be a part of SL seeking unity or their own countries, Intra Isaaq fighting over who gets power meaning theyre all back at square one.

Xasidnimo. The desperation is actually quite pathetic. Kids who are obsessed with midnimo are just parroting stuff from things they heard. Similar to lander kids who hate Somalia.
South Sudan had no experience running a country before they got their independence. Somaliland has been running their territory for 26 years. All the power struggle issues have already been dealt with.
When Somaliland gets international recognition the people will continue their lives as if it were any other day.
