Most Famous Somali Sheikh is in Hot Water again against Somali Female Politician

I am not debating what you have argued, I asked a question about Hanafi Fiqh. When you discuss religious matters, you always highlight Fiqh differences. What difference is there between what I have done and what you constantly do in regard to maintenance of a priviledged wife etc. when highlighting Fiqh differences?
Does the maintaince of the wife cause direct physical harm upon the husband? Does it cause infections and severe psychological issues that can destroy a human?
Thank you for your answer!

One last thing, do not personalise this debate and get emotional. I am Shafici, like many Somalis, so the Hanafi ruling does not apply to me. Putting information out there does not equal promotion.
It’s personal, especially since I’m a woman. You’re discussing the harming of people like me in a very offhandedly way, it’s a controversial topic and you go about it without a shred of wisdom or humanity. As Muslims harming people is haram, whether it be physically or your word, hence think about the harm this may cause a woman who may have experienced this but is lurking on this board? Let’s be real, the harming of Muslim men is never discussed in this matter, I can’t think of a single topic in which you’ll experience what you wrote but about men.

This isn’t my opinion and My goal is not to bring controversy and I’m not forcing anyone to accept such opinions as I’ve said harm/sexual abuse against woman is haram, even if it’s a wife is haram and not ideal. I only quoted the above opinion for academic reasons but maybe I was unwise for speaking about such a sensitive topic on an anonymous forum, in that case forgive me.

Why can't you just say that abuse against a wife is haram, FULL STOP.

What is stopping you from outright condemning violence against women?

You need to understand that words have power and if men, who have the power in this world, don't stand for what is right, who will defend the weak?

That was about forced marriages not sexual abuse. You’re conflating topics and you think you’re slick.

Promoting sexual violence against women is very personal for the entire female gender and for men who have human emotions.

I condemn any violence, physical or psychological harm/violence against any woman, whether she’s married or unmarried.

Are you happy now?

I asked a question and presented a source connected to the question, how can that be construed as promoting rape?
You were promoting a view that Hanafi condone rape against wife, and i’ve found that the source of this view in English comes from Wikiislam, one of the biggest anti Islam websites on the internet. https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Rape_in_Islamic_Law

how pathetic, using the enemies of Islam to support your misogyny and rape on women. That’s where your entire so called “source” came from. Instead of using the fatwa of Sheikh, that’s what you would rather use.

@anonimo

Why are you using these kind of sources on a Somali, Muslim forum? What is your agenda here?

It’s ridiculous that I came back to 12 pages of y’all fighting over whether it’s okay to r*pe your wife or not. Do y’all not see how sickening this topic is? And a former al shabaab propaganda sheikh takfiring a woman over it? We are finished as a people.

@Admin please hide this from viewers, this thread is an embarrassment.

To end this thread, I’d like to say that in the 21st century Muslim men are far from being the protectors of Muslim women.

It's useful for girls/women to see what kind of demons are out here and also that there are normal men like @World.

We are discussing facts here, whether it is a wife's maintenance or the issue at hand. One cannot be selective when they choose to make Fiqh comparisons.

I asked a Fiqh question relating to Hanafis. If this topic is you too much for you, sit this one out as the question was not even directed to you.

This information is out there for any person who chooses to research, one cannot information facts from the masses when it is available at the click of a button.

You are not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?

The translation of the work I referenced is even found in Wikipedia, it is a famous Fiqh book by a known Hanafi jurist.

I have access to the Arabic one as well which I am in the middle of researching to see how accurate the translations is. This book is even published by Darsualam Publishers so GTFOH with your Calaacal.

You use words like "famous" and "known" but your only sources are dubious websites.
