Yes and no. Al-Shabab controls a significant chunk of Somali territory and by and largely get support from local Somali tribes but Somalis outside of Shabab control will want to see them defeated. Even Laftagareen whom I mentioned before has a lot of his clansmen that prefer Al-Shabab.
Somalis can often have divided loyalties but by and largely they are skeptical of Ethiopia at best and highly negative at worst. Reer Galbeed is the best example, not a single one of them identify as Ethiopian and many still seek to join Somalia (their preferred clan state) but are powerless at the moment to do so.
