You should expect worse. If war officially starts and there’s any munafiiq amongst us they will be sent to akhira. Right now it’s beating’s, so those that support the MOU savour it while it lasts 🫡
@mohammdov they’re attacking our cousin now. 💀

This is unrelated. He actually condemned it and does not support it.

That "mosthatedsomali" account has turned out to be a secessionist pretending to be from SWS and has been shilling hard for Ethiopia. Might not be a Somali at all. I would not take anything he says serious and it explains why has been attacking Somalis and the kind of things he posts.

They’ll still have to pay fees, as Ethiopia's share in Berbera port adds up to only 19%. Unless they agree on reducing/exempting from those fees. But in that case, it would result in decreased revenue and I don't think the SL government wants a cut in their budget.

Another factor that oftentimes is bypassed is that SL have agreed with DPworld about a clause that prevents construction of a competing port for the next 30 years, which rules out that Ethiopia may build a commercial port.

The outcome maybe a solution where Ethiopia can import goods through SL ports without tariffs, and free access to the sea for a peace.

This video bellow is a hearing about tigray and eritrea, and here he is addressing Eritrea to treat Ethiopia the same way Chile treat Bolivia

It is land that they want to annex for all intents and purposes. If it was just about using a port they would have stuck with the Berbera port deal. The amount of land in this "MOU" is not the amount of land normally given for a port or even a military base, it is a small city.

This is unheard of.

Add to that it is a hostile neighbouring country still occupying parts of our land and internally pushing us out of our borderlands to expand against Somalis even within the country. It is a historical enemy that has for centuries tried to get to our coast, kuffar who have killed Muslims for centuries to steal land.

It has a recent and ongoing history of massacring Somalis.

It is one of Israel's biggest allies that has a large settler community in Palestine currently taking part in enacting a genocide in Gaza. This is most certainly the biggest push behind this right now to get an ally on the Red Sea/Gulf of Aden. This is in service of Zionists and their allies and the leadership in SL know it, Abiy would not do it without them.

If they try and go through with this, it will mean war and no one can stop the people from it. That is without mentioning the geopolitics at play and Eritrea, Egypt, Iran, Houthis etc incentives to make sure it does not happen.

It is just another move to entrench Zionist hegemony over the Muslim world.

What a lowly and pathetic thing to accept by the SL admin.

Regardless of how you want to spin it, this is a occupation. The Ethiopians will set up shop and they won't leave, not in 50 years or 100 years. Those that live on that land will either be displaced or forced to adhere to the Ethiopian law.

If Bixi wanted to sell land he should've sold his own ancestral land, not the land of others.

We are pursuing all diplomatic options and I think Ethiopia will come to its senses, but we are ready for a war if Abiy wants a war,” said a senior adviser to Somalia’s president.
A western diplomat briefed on the deal described it as a “memorandum of misunderstanding”. “Ethiopia insists they did not agree to recognise Somaliland,” the diplomat said.
