Financial crippling would hurt the average Joe, the group FGS needs on its side. Besides, Djibouti has already confiscated a lot of Muse Bihi’s assets in their country. The FGS should specifically target the overseas wealth of the elites to put pressure on the latter.

It should also sign more agreements with major airlines like Malaysia Airlines and Turkish Airlines to start servicing more routes between Somalia and other countries until they can replace hostile carriers like Ethiopian and FlyDubai completely.
