If you actually read the Arabic version of SL's press release, it is as if it was dictated by Ethiopia, as the language is very similar.

It is as if the two statements issued from the same office :

Now we've all the support of almost the entire world that matters we should focus on rebuilding our army, is it realistic for Somalia to acquire fighter jets soon enough now the arms embargo has been lifted? The day I see Somali fighter jets escorting Ethiopian airplanes out of our airspace is the day I'll be rolling around with happiness like a school kid on eid day who's been offered all the candy he can eat

Yes they said that they recognised SL as a separate entity, and that they respect the territorial integrity of the republic of SL.
