Honestly I don't really care. Any development is welcome. Ethiopia is a pinnacle factor to the African Development Fund which is financing the road project from Lawyacado through Borama. That's more than a central government in Somalia has ever done since 1960.


The project has been updated since this month.

Economic development will improve the whole country, not just a tiny corridor. Boost in investement from recogntion will also help out multiple sectors. This tribalistic land mentality is backwards.

Mining companies were recently meeting with the government. So much opportunity will be created. Being under FGS would mean less investment because it's seen as politically unstable.

It's not only the Shacab who are against it but also the elders, politicians, scholars, etc. Gadabursi and more specifically the Bahabar Muuse of Lughaya consensually rejected the MoU.
